Jason Molinet, 37, has vast writing, editing and multimedia experience, most notably from an 11-year career as a reporter at Newsday, and currently as owner of an online publishing firm. A Cuban-American from Miami, Molinet brings journalistic values and credibility, along with a strong entrepreneurial vision, to Early Edition Media, Inc.
Early Edition Media, Inc. is an interactive media company with the focus of making local news and advertising an important component of the Internet. Right now, an estimated $5 billion is spent on local Internet-based advertising. That number is expected to jump to $25 billion over the next five years. EEM is dedicated to building content-rich Internet sites with Long Island flavor and a built-in following. They make an ideal platform for local advertisers.
Molinet brings a great deal of creativity, drive and a sense of entrepreneurship to any project. With a BA degree in History and a reporter’s curiosity, he dives into topics with a passion to get at their core. Molinet has a keen interest in business and have learned from my own experience running a startup. He follows current trends and cultural phenomenon. And like any journalist, Molinet absorbs current events with sponge-like dexterity.
